Hotspot variation offset is not working on my side

I have a question regards to the variation offset is not working on my side, is there a way to address?

First of all, I would like to mention Allow location variation . It is important to understand that this option is not related to Variation Offset .

  1. Allow location variation - Allow islands to be placed in other trims with similar parameters. This is possible only if your set of trims has trims with parameters suitable for alternative selection. The video you provided does not have such trims. To put it simply, you need to create two or more identical trims, and when this option is activated, the islands will be distributed to all identical trims.

  2. Variation Offset - The amount by which the shift will be performed, if possible. This option is responsible for shifting the island inside the trim after the island has already been placed in the trim, if possible. This is possible if the trim allows such a shift. It is possible to grant such permission by setting the Fit Axis trim option to the appropriate state. In your case, it is best to set the Fit Axis option to Min . This means that when inserting an island into a trim, the island will become the same size as the shortest side of the trim, the other side will not be limited, and it can be larger than the trim or smaller. And in this case, Variation Offset will be able to move the island inside the trim along the side that does not limit it. That is, on the larger side. In practice, it looks like this:

While recording the video, I realized that disabling the Allow location variation option also blocks Variation Offset . I think this is confusing. I have fixed this for the next update. Also updated a hint for these options for better understanding. Thanks for the feedback.
