Hello,
I am using Zen UV version 5.0.0.12 in Blender, but I cannot find the “Use Global Mark Settings” option in the UI. Additionally, the “Mark by Angle” tab is missing from my interface. I have checked the N-Panel, and the add-on is correctly enabled. I do see mark by angle in the pie menu, but cant see the mark by anglemark in the panel
Could you help me locate these features? Have they been moved or renamed in a recent update?
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,
The Mark by Angle operator is only present in the 3D View panel because only the 3D representation of an object has angles that can be selected. Similarly, the Global Mark Setting are found in the Unwrap panel in 3D View. Learn more here.
Thank you for fast reply. This is my Unwrap panel in zen uv. As you can see, i am missing the global mark settings / the mark system/ the marking tools.
As I wrote earlier, you can find these settings in the main panel in 3D View. Instead, you show a screenshot of the panel with the UV Editor. If you follow the link in the same post, you will find a screenshot.
I follow your guidelines but really dont understand how to get the marktools in zen uv.
In the screenshot at this link you see two similar but different panels. One of them belongs to the UV Editor. This is an editor for creating UV coordinates. The other belongs to the 3D View. This is an editor for modeling 3D objects. The options you are looking for are only in the 3D view panel because only there is three-dimensional geometry. And therefore only there can you find sharp corners for Mark by Angle processing. Because in the UV Editor all geometry is represented by only one two-dimensional plane. This is the main paradigm of Blender. Each editor works only with its own data and with its own context.
Yes got it. I understand what you mean. Thanks for helping me out.
