I have attempted to install Zen Cage on my M4 Macbook pro using the Install From Disk process in the preferences. The message in the bar at the bottom of the screen indicate that all packages are loaded but the tool is not visible in the N panel and the Zen Cage wiget is not being displayed.
Is anybody else having problems installing on a Mac. My Blender version is 4.4.3.
Hey. Try the following. Make sure you are in Object mode. Not Edit mode. Zen Cage does not have its own panel in the N-panel until you activate Tool. Also, in Object mode, pay attention to the toolbar. If you have a lot of tools, you may need to scroll. You should see the tool button in the form of a yellow cube with dots for vertices.
If you still don’t see the Zen Cage tool, please send a screenshot of the system console starting from the beginning of Blender loading.
Thanks Valeriy. I have found the cause of my problem. When I installed Zen Cage I set the filter to show apps with the word Zen ( I also have Zen UV) in them and Enabled Only checked.
After install only Zen Uv was displayed which is why I thought Zen Cage was not installed correctly. When I turned Enabled Only off, Zen Cage was displayed but not eanbled. Once I enabled it it works. Normally when I install apps they enable automatically but I got caught out this time.
