I’d like to request an option for Re
lax that keeps pinned vertices from being moved.
Unfortunately, this algorithm does not support the Pin tag. And it is not possible to fix it. But you can try using the native Blender Minimal Distortion algorithm. And as an alternative, in recent versions of Blender you can simply select the vertices that need to be relaxed and click Unwrap. Using Pin is no longer necessary.
this would be so useful. the relax feature works great but doesn’t really give any options to help control the shape of the island. trying to use unwrap can work fine but the uv island frequently over laps with itself. minimum stretch can work for simple islands but for the more complex stuff it really struggles. not sure if there’s another work around i might have missed?
