I’d like to request an option for Re
lax that keeps pinned vertices from being moved.
Unfortunately, this algorithm does not support the Pin tag. And it is not possible to fix it. But you can try using the native Blender Minimal Distortion algorithm. And as an alternative, in recent versions of Blender you can simply select the vertices that need to be relaxed and click Unwrap. Using Pin is no longer necessary.
